Starting off the day at 1:30pm, Chevelle will be presenting a piece of memorabilia to The Hard Rock in Chicago. (63 W. Ontario Dr. Chicago, IL 60654) They'll only be there until 2:30, so come down early, grab a burger and see the guys!
After Hard Rock, Chevelle is offering an exclusive Private Sound Check for fans who buy the album from Best Buy any time between release day on 8.31.09 and 4:00 on 9.3.09. All you have to do is buy Sci-Fi Crimes from any Best Buy location and bring the receipt to LaSalle Power Company to get instant access to Chevelle's Private Sound Check! Doors are at 4pm, and it's first come first served so show up early!
Capping off the night, Chevelle will be performing exclusively for Q101 listeners at the same location. Tune into Q101 to for information on how you could be invited to the Q101 Private Winners Show at LaSalle Power Company.

You people that don't have anything to say good about the album don't even write.If you are regigstered isn't it because you are fans? Anyways i believe the album is awesome just like the other four albums. Chevelle just completely rocks. Too bad not many people know them. They are missing out on some very good music.

I was at the Denver concert a few weeks ago and bought the SCI-FI Crimes EP for $10. On the sleeve was a sticker that said if you bought this album you will also get the new digital album when its released Sept. 1. There were no instructions inside the sleeve whatsoever about how to get the digital download. Has anyone else bought the CD or have any idea how to get the digital download of the SCI-FI Crimes?

I cannot stop listening to it today. It is going to take awhile before I would concider it their best, but it is awsome. Very diverse. Heavy and melodic. I love it.

I'm gonna have to completely disagree with you. This might be my favorite so far. Some of the most original and heaviest sounding riffs and melodies they've had. And the softer songs sound awesome as well.
Saw them and met them in Pittsburgh last night. Best concert experience I've ever had. Great show guys.

Yea....what happened to Chevelle....i was crazy into these guys but this new album is just too soft for Chevelle....it's an alright album but not near Vena Sera, This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In), and Wonder What's Next....even some of their softer song before were a lot better, their beats and playing seem more dancey, guess I'll just have to wait for the next one...
