My names B.J. Vodron, my best friend and i never miss a show anytime you come around the Midland/Odessa, TX area. As a matter of fact, we went to the April 17th show and saw yall and 10 years, and adelitas way also. That night Anthony turned 21 at Midnight and i bought him his first (legal) beers haha. We waited to see if y'all were going to come out, but the people working your stand said that you were sick, so we wouldnt get to meet you. Unfortunately, Anthony passed away June 7th in a motorcycle accident. Basically, Anthony is the one that introduced me to ur music back in 2004. I actually was wondering if there was any way that i could meet you guys the next time you come around the area... it meant alot to Anthony, and myself too. I know you will be in Lubbock, TX on the 15th. I was supposed to be going to see Bullet For My Valentine at the Mayhemfest tour with Anthony that weekend, but i guess thats not going to happen, so i could go to the show in Lubbock!
Whether your answer be a yes... or a no.. an answer is still an answer. If its not too much to ask!
i was just wondering what happened weds night at the Asbury park show.....chevelle was rocking as usual and all of a sudden the set stopped and they had to leave the stage...if anyone has a clue as to wth happened please fill me in. i went to the show spcefically for Chevelle and would of liked to see them finish.
First off I met Sam Loeffler next to where they were selling Tshirts. He was such a sweet guy and let me and my 2 friends Sarah and Tracey take pictures of us together. I love Chevelle, they are my favorite band and always will be. So then while they were playing on stage Sam threw me his drum stick and smiled at me. So nice. He is SO cute too by the way. After the show 2 of my friends Bill and TJ went to meet Halestorm and I went outside on the boardwalk by myself to see if I could see my dream come true Pete Loeffler. The bands were hanging out BBQ'n by the tour busses. I walked over and saw Sam again and said thank you for the drum stick. Then I walked alittle bit more and there he was "PETE". I was so pysched. I did not act annoying by screaming and freaking out. I was myself. Very sweet and nice. I said hi Pete and he walked over to me and I sware talked to me for like 30 mins. I was asking him questions and we talked about his bday, his brothers, his hometown, his house, how much he misses his puppy and home, where I worked and that Im a bartender, I told him it would be a dream come true if he came to my work, talked about his set, the new CD, and wanted to give me his pass, but he couldnt. So anyway I didnt have a camera cuz it had just broke during the show and I didnt have a pen or anything for him to sign. I told him how they were my favorite and was dying because I didnt have a camera. Some girl gave me a pen and I found my concert ticket. He said "I am going to make you a heart because you are so sweet", how freakin cute was that? I just could not believe he took his time to talk to me out of all the other people that had VIP passes, it was so nice. I told him if he wasnt married I would steel him and bring him home with me, and he said "you would, wouldn't you? Oh yes I would. Anyway my friends finally came and found me and then I got my picture taken with me with our faces squished up against the fence. Pete then told us to go on the other side and he would come out and talk to us more. We walked around and my friends didnt think he would come out. Well guess what, he did!!!!! Him and Sam came out. Pete laughed and asked his brother Sam who I reminded him of. They said Sam's ex girlfriend. I could not stop staring at Pete. I was just so happy that I got to meet him. That was my dream and it came true. Pete if you guys ever read this because you told me to go on your website to see the shows coming up I have to tell you that you were the SWEETEST guy I have ever met. And I wasn't just happy because you are in Chevelle, its because of you and what kind of person you are. You were so sweet and I want to thank you for taking your time to talk to me. Big fan of your Music. Pop Evil is also a good band. Was wonder if it be possible for you and Popevil to Play in Grand Rapids, MI. Add Tool to that Set and I gurantee you would sell out the Van Andel. Intersection is also a great venue. Pop Evil is From GR also. I heard you PE and BC played on the east side, but I heard no promoting about the show until afterward.
Anyway, keep up the Great Music, And I'll definitly keep listening.
