STAIND, SHINEDOWN, CHEVELLE AND HALESTORM DELIVER ROCK FANS THEIR OWN BAIL-OUT;
U.S. TOUR KICKS OFF JULY 1 IN PEORIA, IL, FEATURING DISCOUNTED TICKET PRICES AND LOCAL VALUE ADD-INS FOR TICKETHOLDERS
Hard rock mavens Staind, Shinedown, Chevelle and Halestorm will be teaming up this summer for the "Stimulate This!" tour, a four-band bill designed to offer fans maximum value at a minimal price.
Making its way across the U.S. beginning July 1 and extending through early September, the "Stimulate This!" tour will hit more than 40 U.S. markets, including some of the hardest hit by the recession. In a show of solidarity for their fans, the four bands have worked closely with the concert promoters to create a package of exceptional value for ticket buyers. Through their collective efforts, they've been able to maintain modest base ticket prices that remain mostly under $40 each - half the cost of comparable multi-band summer tour packages - with some venues offering lawn seats for less than $10. Additionally, each tour stop will include special promotions for ticket holders that will vary from market to market, but could include discounts on concessions at the venue during the show, store discounts at local retailers, and online rebates for band merchandise to name a few.
"Wall Street got its bailout; now it's time for rock fans to get theirs," said Staind frontman Aaron Lewis. "This summer, we want to give our fans one night where they can forget about everything else and experience a great rock show."
"We've always said that we, as a band, only answer to one boss...and that's everyone in the audience," offers Shinedown's Brent Smith. "It's our job...our privilege to offer our fans an escape. Teaming up with these other great bands, we're doing what we can to help lift everyone's spirits in these tough times…the power of music can do that."

Staind's latest album, The Illusion of Progress, marks the band's fourth consecutive studio album to debut in the top 3 on the Billboard 200 and features the #1 alternative rock song, "Believe." The Atlantic recording group's decade-long career is marked by more than 12 million in album sales worldwide and five #1 singles spanning three different radio formats. The Illusion of Progress is the band's sixth studio album and the follow-up to 2005's certified platinum Chapter V. Produced by Johnny K (3 Doors Down, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold), Staind recorded The Illusion of Progress in frontman Aaron Lewis's home studio. Currently the third single from the album, "This Is It," is climbing up the Active Rock radio chart. Staind is Aaron Lewis (vocals/guitar), Mike Mushok (guitar), Jon Wysocki (drums/percussion), and Johnny April (bass, vocals).
Atlantic recording group Shinedown's latest single, "Second Chance," is proving to be a cross-over smash, earning the Jacksonville, Florida-based band its highest chart position yet on the pop charts, coming in at #11 this week and rising - the track has already gone to #1 at Active Rock and #2 at Alternative. The companion video for "Second Chance" has climbed to #4 on VH1's Top 20 Countdown and also enjoys airplay on MTV, MTV2, and Fuse. The title track from Shinedown's current album, "THE SOUND OF MADNESS," recently stormed to #6 at Active Rock, continuing the band's staggering run of 10 consecutive Top 10 hits at the format. Produced by multiple Grammy award winner Rob Cavallo (Kid Rock, Green Day), "THE SOUND OF MADNESS" has been RIAA-certified Gold after debuting at #8 on the Billboard 200 upon release last summer. The album marks the band's first foray into the international marketplace and has already been met with incredible enthusiasm, particularly in the UK: "The man is simply a masterful entertainer and frontman, a star," enthused Kerrang! about lead singer Brent Smith; "There's little doubt that Shinedown are among the most exciting new bands around," declared Classic Rock. ‘THE SOUND OF MADNESS" follows the band's platinum selling debut "LEAVE A WHISPER" and gold-certified followup "US AND THEM." Shinedown is Brent Smith (vocals), Barry Kerch (drums), Zach Myers (guitars), and Eric Bass (bass).
Multi-platinum Epic recording artists Chevelle have just wrapped up recording their highly-anticipated new album Letter From a Thief which will hit stores later this summer. The Chicago-based trio spent seven weeks co-producing the new album with Brian Virtue (Jane's Addiction, 30 Seconds to Mars, Deftones) in Nashville, Tennessee and are excited to hit the road and debut their new material. Letter From a Thief marks Chevelle's fifth studio album and will follow up 2007's smash Vena Sera. Formed in 1995, the Chicago-based band has remained a staple in the hard rock scene with six Top 5 Modern Rock hits under their belt, including the #1 songs "Send the Pain Below" and "Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)" as well as fan favorites, "The Red" and "The Clincher". Chevelle is Pete Loeffler (vocals, guitars), brother Sam Loeffler (drums), and brother-in-law Dean Bernardini (bass).
Atlantic recording group Halestorm just released their self-titled debut album. Produced by Howard Benson, Halestorm is an explosive collection of infectious hard rock anthems, a fiery flurry of sexy hooks and rough and tumble grooves. Steering this runaway train is singer/guitarist Lzzy Hale, who brings a hypnotic intensity to such tracks as the sensual first single "I Get Off," which is bulleting up the top 30 on the Active Rock radio chart.

When will Chevelle be headliners? This will be the 2nd time seeing Chevelle & they once again will not be the headliners. I know they are better & deserve better. They kick ass & I will be there mostly for them. Rock web design on guys. So I went to see you guys in Evansville Indiana last friday, I wish I could ask Pete this question directly but this is as good as it gets. SO my question is, Pete were you not feeling search engine marketing the audience or something? You seemed like you were wanting something more that we weren't giving you? I remember at one point you said "could everyone stand up so this looks voip like a rock show and not a sing along?" also you said at the end "this song is dedicated to those 2 girls who f***ing hate me", whats up? were just not feeling us, I only went to the concert to see chevelle. I thought u guys were awesome anyways but I just didn't feel like you liked it there.

Information
They have the wrong album name in the text. Major miss communication seems to follow Chevelle with every new album release though. Even with the confusion, they're still multi-platinum, which really shows how much we all love the music. I can't wait to see them on the tour.
